About the project
HARDI is a Russian manufacturer of furniture hardware: drawer slides, gas lifts, hinges, soft-close mechanisms and sliding systems. Their website needed detailed 3D renders and videos showing product advantages: the mechanism design, part precision and material quality — in a way photography cannot.
The project in detail
The work
- 3D modeling of drawer slides (ball-bearing, soft-close, push-to-open) and gas lifts from scratch, 50+ furniture hardware models;
- technical renders with translucent housings: visible 7th-precision-class balls, springs, safety rings;
- catalog renders in a consistent angle on a white background (500+ renders across the project);
- comparative renders of sliding systems and facade profiles — the narrow 20 mm profile against the wide 45 mm one, handles and corners in 7 colors;
- slide extension animation — 8 product advantage videos with voiceover, subtitles and a brand logo;
- a door assembly video guide for the Premium hanging system — the full cycle from measuring to installation with narration;
- logo animation for the videos.
The result
The hardware catalogue is now fully in 3D: models, catalogue renders and videos that reveal the internal construction in a way photography cannot.
