About the project
Velesgard LLC (Smolensk) supplies paints and coatings for industrial facilities: bridges, ships, storage tanks, plants. Their new website needed two animations: an animated logo for the homepage and a video that clearly shows their supply directions — painting grey industrial objects in brand colors.
The project in detail
The work
- animated logo: the mark emerging from liquid (Water Logo template), reworked for the WG sign, looped, versions compressed to fit the website (3–10 MB);
- sourcing and purchasing 3D models on cgtrader across the client's industries: a bridge, an oil platform, a tanker, storage tanks, an oil refinery, a harbor crane;
- scene assembly: a colored ribbon travels across grey objects and paints them in brand colors;
- finale: the buildings form a semicircle around the logo outline with the VELESGARD wordmark;
- several rounds of revisions on materials (metal instead of "plastic"), background and logo readability;
- high-resolution renders and all source files handed over.
The result
Two animations: a logo now live on the client's website homepage and a 3D video painting industrial objects in brand colours.
